Continental Steel & Tube Company Named Authorized Vendor to Ferrari S.P.A. for Titanium Products

PREMIER AUTO MAKER CHOOSES CONTINENTAL STEEL & TUBE CO FOR TITANIUM SUPPLY

Fort Lauderdale – July 17, 2009 – Don Ascione, President and Chief Executive Officer of Continental Steel & Tube Company (CS&T) announced today that CS&T has been approved as an authorized vendor of Titanium Products to Ferrari’s Formula One Race Car Group. This announcement follows an exhaustive qualification process and a presentation visit to Ferrari’s Modena, Italy plant by CS&T’s Product Manager for Titanium Products, Ms. Andrea Carolina Perez. During her visit, Perez presented CS&T’s unique qualifications as a Titanium supplier to Ferrari’s senior management and received Ferrari’s stamp of approval for Titanium Products.

Ascione acknowledged his pride in the recent growth spurt achieved by Continental’s Titanium Department and articulated his satisfaction with CS&T’s substantial Titanium sales penetration into the aerospace, commercial, industrial and medical industries. CS&T stocks and sells a wide array of Titanium products including Bars, Sheets, Plates, Pipe, Tubing, Wire and Forgings.
